Seljalandsfoss
Waterfall Suðurland, Iceland
About Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland's most iconic and photographed waterfalls, located on the South Coast right off the Ring Road. Fed by the Seljalandsá river originating from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier, it drops roughly 60 meters (around 200 feet) over a cliff that was once the country's coastline. Its most famous feature is the pathway that allows visitors to walk completely behind the curtain of water, offering a unique and immersive perspective, though be prepared to get sprayed!
