Gljúfrabúi
Waterfall Suðurland, Iceland
About Gljúfrabúi
Gljúfrabúi, often called the "hidden waterfall," is located just a short walk north of the famous Seljalandsfoss on Iceland's South Coast. True to its name, which roughly means "Gorge Dweller," this 40-meter (approx. 130 ft) waterfall is concealed behind a cliff face within a narrow canyon. To see it fully, visitors typically need to wade through a stream into the mossy, atmospheric gorge, making for a unique and more intimate waterfall experience compared to its popular neighbour.
