About Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is a mesmerizing black sand beach in Southeast Iceland, adjacent to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Its name comes from the numerous glistening icebergs of various shapes and sizes that wash ashore from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, creating a stunning contrast against the dark volcanic sand. These "diamonds" of ice make for incredible photo opportunities and a unique, ever-changing landscape.
